The ‘By the Park’ Social Initiative Centre is the second unit of the ‘Smile’ Cultural Centre operations in Ożarów Mazowiecki. It was created in August 2015 as part of the ‘Improving the appeal of the cultural offer of the Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki’ project. The hall for the residents to exploit, is 80 square metres big and it has been adapted to meet the needs of the people with disabilities. The ‘By the Park’ Social Initiative Centre is equipped with the appliances used for movie shows, organising events, conferences and other shows.

The ‘By the Park’ Social Initiative Centre was created in order to gather people who are socially active as well as volunteers and the local communities’ supervisors. Our goal is the joint implementation of residents’ ideas, the support of the neighbouring  relations and the active free time spending in the nearby area. Workers and volunteers associated with the Social Initiatives Centre are open to the residents’ motions. The programme is being created on a current basis, according to the residents, informal groups and non-governmental organisations’ ideas.
